CHAS Service Rifle League

The Service Rifle League runs on the second Sunday of each month March through November.
In addition to Service Rifle, the league runs Service Pistol and Sniper Rifle matches as well.
F-Class runs alongside Service Rifle and NRA Large Bore matches.

Start Time is 11:30 AM
All matches are conducted on the 100m range until the long range is available. (Normally the matches are at 200/300m)
Match fee is $5 for CHAS members, $25 for non-members (includes CHAS guest daypass)

Service Rifle Requirements
-Any rifle that has ever been used by any military or police service from any time period or any variant thereof
-Optical sights are limited to 4X magnification. Variable magnification optics are permissible so long as they are set to no more than 4X.
-Rifle must be able to fire 10 rounds in 30 seconds. (semi-autos must do it from two magazines)
-40 rounds of ammunition
-Match will be conducted unsupported in the sitting and prone positions.

NRA Large Bore Requirements
-Any rifle that has ever been used by any military or police service from any time period or any variant thereof
-Optical sights are limited to 4X magnification. Variable magnification optics are permissible so long as they are set to no more than 4X.
-Rifle must be able to fire 10 rounds in 60 seconds. (semi-autos must do it from two magazines)
-40 rounds of ammunition per distance used.
-Match will be conducted unsupported in the standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone positions.

F-Class Requirements
-Any rifle
-Any site
-Rifle must be able to fire 10 rounds in 30 seconds.
-40 rounds of ammunition
-Match will be conducted from the shooters' choice of benchrest or prone position, supported or unsupported.

Service Pistol Requirements
-Any pistol that has ever been used by any military or police service from any time period or any variant thereof
-Optical sights are limited to 1X magnification
-Pistol must be able to be fired one-handed
-At least two magazines are required
-50 rounds of ammunition
-Holsters are optional but not required.
-Match will be conducted unsupported in the standing, kneeling, and prone positions.

Sniper Rifle Requirements
-Any rifle
-Any site
-20 rounds of ammunition depending if main match is standard or NRA.
-Match will be conducted both supported and unsupported in the sitting and prone positions.
-For Sniper Team rules, spotter will require a rifle that conforms to Service Rifle requirements (above)
